Mission Estate’s Head Winemaker featured in Living Hawke’s Bay magazine

The winter edition of Living Hawke’s Bay features a short profile on our Head Winemaker, Alex Roper, and two of our Reserve range wines which showcase Hawke’s Bay’s signature wine varieties. Alex shares his journey from working weekends at our cellar door while he was completing his Bachelor of Wine Studies degree to being mentored by our previous Head Winemaker, Paul Mooney, and then taking that role when Paul retired in 2024. It also briefly outlines our sustainability ethos.
