Gallery at the Mission

The Gallery at the Mission welcomes visitors to browse the handcrafted exhibits, all locally made in Hawke's Bay.

The Gallery has a diverse range of beautiful offerings by local artists Cheryl LaClaire, Elaine Smith, Carolyn Aikman, Glenys Graham, Bill & Maureen Aikman and Pauline Cummins. Meticulously designed handmade domestic ware and colourful souvenirs in pottery, watercolour and oil paintings, handcrafted recycled wooden furniture and other domestic woodware. There is also stock an interesting range of jewellery designed in silver, greenstone and bone.

Please note that The Gallery opening hours vary between the seasons. 

Winter: Monday - Saturday 10.30am - 4.30pm, Sunday 10.30am - 4pm

Summer: Monday - Saturday 10am - 5pm, Sunday 10.30am - 4.30pm
