CELLAR DOOR

Mission is proud of being New Zealand's oldest winery.  We invite you to walk through time and history in a setting that embraces the old and new.   

The cellar has gone through a number of challenges including relocating, fires, earthquakes, expansion, and more recently the completion of the spectacular underground cellar. Now housed in the restored seminary building, the Mission cellar door offers the complete wine experience.


Twice daily historic tours showcase the beauty of the historic seminary, outline the history of the Mission, and conclude with a tasting of selected Mission wines. 


The tours run daily, at 10.30am and 2.00pm. 
Private and group tours are by arrangement.

Sunday: 10am - 4.30pm
